A very relaxed beach hotel located near the Tulum Maya ruins (& FAR away from the pulsating hotel strip further down south) The breakfast (served under a large canopy by the beach) consists of a fruit plate & 1 plato fuerte of your choice. The cabanas are quite large & decorated in different styles. The reception is always manned By Victor (daytime) of Nicolas (evening) & they are VERY kind & helpful. Expect some minor bugs, as we are within Parque del Jaguar. Spoil yourself to a swim with mantas & turtles with "Tulum Snorkel Service" located just to the left when going out on the beach. it's 350 for a 1 hour trip. They are a 100 pesos more expensive than the guys to the right, but it's money very well spent.

All of the staff were very helpful and definitely worked hard. At times it did seem like there wasn’t enough staff to provide reasonable service when breakfast and dinner were busy. Overall, both the service and food we enjoyed for lunch and dinner was very good, again the fact that they charge London and New York prices is a bit much.

Rooms were nice, we had the renovated version which was more expensive than the older, single houses. There is a safe parking inside. The area is very quiet and close to Tulum ruins. As many have already mentioned, this is in a reservation area where alcohol and plastic bottles are not allowed and there is also a daily ticket to get in the reservation (if you do not get out you do not need to pay) on the main road, inside the reservation there is a free (if you have to have the daily entry paid bracelet on your wrist) bus that gets you to the ruins.

Loved the location, inside the natural park is just stunning. At night theres a lot os firebugs and is beautiful beautiful. The coral rifes are amazing. Really calm place
