3 bedroom apartments in Puerto Vallarta cater for groups or families of 5, 6, 7 and sometimes up to 8 guests. A typical configuration would be two guests per room for comfortable sleeping of up to 6 guests. Sofa-beds or roll-away bed options are available at some hotels which can increase the maximum number of guests from 6 to up to 7 or 8 (no comment on how comfy the sofa is, it varies a lot!)
For families with more than the average 2.2 kids (that's old, it's 1.8 kids per family today) 3 bedroom apartments are a great option, or the only option when compared to splitting the family up to fit into the standard hotel room.
