Such a lovely bijou cottage with original beams. Everything you needed was there and the host helpfully provided croissant butter and jam. Also lovely cut flowers on the table. It's a good location with a walk into town or you can go around towards the river and towards the back of the castle. It would be great if the owners could track down some of the history of the house from public records (free online) such as who was living there during census years but i am always fascinated by a cottage with history!! This house is about 500 years old I reckon.

The house was clean, easy to access and provided all the home comforts we would expect. It gave us access to lots of places to visit, close to shops and restaurants.

The location was perfect. The shower was amazing...such a good decision to use space for this in a tiny cottage. The details such as the quality hand soap really mattered.
