A wonderful quiet and cosy haven that was full of character and very comfortable. Located close to the excellent Unicorn pub and easy walking distance into town with its many attractions, eateries etc this is a perfect retreat. Hosts really responsive and helpful. Small but perfectly formed kitchen had all we needed for cooking, comfortable lounge diner, good bed with quality bedding and a great shower in a well appointed bathroom.

A lovely little cottage and a great use of the space! The jam and crossiants on arrival were a lovely touch as well. Really accessible for the town centre which is just a short walk away. It was also great to be able to park right outside the property 🙂

Such a lovely bijou cottage with original beams. Everything you needed was there and the host helpfully provided croissant butter and jam. Also lovely cut flowers on the table. It's a good location with a walk into town or you can go around towards the river and towards the back of the castle. It would be great if the owners could track down some of the history of the house from public records (free online) such as who was living there during census years but i am always fascinated by a cottage with history!! This house is about 500 years old I reckon.
