Our 4th visit and always lives up to our expectations. Staff always very friendly and accommodating. Excellent food and great location for walking the dog.

Staff are all very welcoming and helpful. I'd asked for an early breakfast, which they were very happy to do for me - Breakfast was fantastic Tea (Dinner) was again, very nice - great food, great beer in a warm and friendly pub. Room was clean, warm and comfortable with everything I needed.

The Wheatsheaf at Carperby is Comfortable, welcoming and clean. The Bedrooms are comfortable with kettle and a well stocked tea tray. Rooms are serviced each day. The location is superb with views of the dales all round. It is ideal for touring and walking alike. The staff here, go the ‘extra mile’ to ensure all your needs are met and they all make their customers feel very welcome. The food is yummy and plentiful and is cooked and presented well. This was our second visit to the Wheatsheaf and I don’t think it will be the last. Claire and Emma “thank you” and please pass on our thanks to all your staff and a special thank you to Louie for his cheeky smiley face!!
