Stow House is a former vicarage located in the Yorkshire Dales. It has views over Wensleydale and Bishopdale, and over two acres of private grounds.
There are seven en-suite rooms, and many benefit from a seating area. Each has a hairdryer, flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities, plus guests can enjoy complimentary Molton Brown toiletries.
The spectacular Aysgarth Waterfalls, a series of cascades stretching for over half a mile along the River Ure, are only five minutes’ walk from Stow House. Historic castles, abbeys and stately homes are within easy driving distance.

This third-floor room has a vaulted ceiling and views over the Dales. The en-suite shower room has a partition wall and door it is not fully closed off due to the vaulted ceiling. Kindly note pets cannot be accommodated in this bedroom.

The largest room at Stow House has unsurpassed views over the Dales. A day bed is provided for lounging or can be made up for a third person.

Top marks for me for Stow House. A wonderful hotel in idyllic location. Hosts were Cheery and friendly. The chief of the welcome department was perfect and I'd have loved to bring him home!.... Room was spacious, warm and comfortable.... We loved the bath even though we didn't use it! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.... Plenty of safe parking for those on a road trip... We will definitely have Stow House as our first choice to stay next time visiting the Dales.

Lovely property and location - ideal for Wensleydale and other northern dales. Excellent breakfast and helpful owners - booked a table for us at local hotel on the first night.

Fantastic house and hostess couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend. Fantastic breakfast, clean room and comfy bed. What's not to like. Will be back again
