- Carol was super helpful and gave us a lot of information so at the end of the day, we were really organized - The hotel was literally 2 minutes walking from the gate of the national park - they had a lot of local food to taste at the restaurant - they have two cats (huge bonus) - again, the people were the kindest on earth and we really liked to spent time there for our stay.

Everything was perfect. It is close to parc entrance (5min walk to west entrance). Carol explanations were very good. Room was clean and comfortable. We had a very good stay !

We are so so happy that we stayed at Tongfu Inn for the duration of our trip to Zhangjiajie National Park. We had a clean, spacious room with the biggest bed I’ve ever slept in (would fit four adults for sure). It was always a great relief to come back to the inn and our room after each tiring day in the mountains. The inn does really good and affordable breakfast and dinner. The surroundings around the inn were calm and peaceful, not too many buildings and lots of crops and greenery with mountains nearby. Just a short 5min walk to the West gate which we liked being near because it wasn’t as busy as the East gate, but we were still close to many attractions in the Park. Carol is such a kind and helpful person - she was ultimately what made our stay so memorably lovely. She helped us book cars for transport, tickets for the Park, and showed us where to go for each day to see everything, including a couple places that weren’t on most visitor’s radar (you had to specifically tell the bus driver in the Park to stop there) with magnificent views. Great family run business, would 100/10 recommend!
