The owner really cared about the attention to detail and design whilst accounting for sustainability, local culture and tradition. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and made exceptional attempt to accommodate every request.

Staff were extremely helpful, arranged transport free of charge. Quick answers to all our questions. Made good suggestions where to visit.The tea tasting session was interesting. We weren't exactly pressured to buy but couldn't help feeling a bit guilty that we couldn't due to limited luggage space. We would have preferred not to have felt that way. The room layout was different, could have been more functional. The toilet was very modern and effective but not sure it needs to be so loud. The owners wife was very friendly and we enjoyed the tea session with her just before we left.

The homestay is very authentic and elegant nestled inside a beautiful mountain. The staff are extremely helpful and caring which makes my stay memorable. They drive you to different national park with nice cars and safe driver. They help you with ticket bookings and itinerary and found us the best guide!

I had an amazing stay at Foggy Valley. Everything about it felt like 5 stars. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and had stunning views of the mountains. The free breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

It was very close to the Zhangjiajie national park main entrance. The hotel itself had a very calm vibe, the staff was very kind and helpful. They helped us book all pf pur trips and provided free shuttle services for most attractions. We even got a tea ceremony at the hotel. The restaurant onsite was also lovely and offered a lot of vegetarian options.

Service was very personalised and efficient, with chauffeuring services, gifting us local food after we expressed how much we liked a dish and fulfilling our requests speedily. Special mention to extremely helpful and friendly staff: Mr Hu, Mr Shen, Tingting, Maomao, Mr Li. Very adorable cats and dogs which are all very friendly!

The staff were very attentive to our needs and helped my wife as she has difficulty with the steps due to too much walking. Great mountain view from bedroom! Too cold to sit at balcony to enjoy the majestic view. Very comfortable bed. Provided transport service to where we wanted to go from arrival to departure. Will want to stay here again but will choose a warmer season to enjoy their surrounding and BBQ.

The service was top notch, they really went out of the way to look after us, organising tickets and picking us up from the airport and to the gates of the national park etc. The food was also excellent, with lots of organic produce including eggs from the owner’s own chooks, which was a pleasant surprise whilst travelling. All the staff were super friendly and our kids didn’t want to leave, they especially miss the owner’s dog. This place has exceeded our expectations and made our trip much easier with young kids in tow.
