Very friendly family! Communication was sometimes a bit tricky as we sadly don’t speak Georgian or Russian, but luckily their kids‘ English was pretty good. Quite comfortable bed and clean bathroom, nice food, rather quiet at night. They have a tower (allegedly with foundations from the 9th century) and were kind enough to let us climb it. Even though that was also a bit scary, it was a great experience and you shouldn’t miss it. Also the sunset is amazing from up there. The familiy gave us good recommendations for our evening walk and there definitely is plenty lovely nature to explore if you have the time.

It is well located accommodation if one does the Mestia-Ushguli trek. The hosts are very hospitable as well as their lovely children. We tried only the breakfast, but as it is mentioned in other reviews, the food is fantastic and homemade. It is also very clean and tidy.
