Hotel Overview

Offering free Wi-Fi, Hotel Plateau Rosa is located a 10-minutes walk from Zermatt’s centre and 100 metres from Zermatt Cable Car, at the foot of the Matterhorn. It has a sauna, bar and a garden terrace.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Amazing views of the Matterhorn from the balcony, comfortable and clean rooms and fantastic friendly and helpful staff, especially Michael who went out of his way to help me with information and printing some ongoing travel tickets. I would highly recommend this hotel. I'm travelling through the Alps and have been to lots of hotels so far and this is absolutely the best. One suggestion for improvement: maybe add tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. Other than that, perfect!

The hotel was everything we wanted/needed at reasonable price, done very well and I loved the system for boiling our eggs for breakfast. the matterhorn view was second to none. awe inspiring

Room was quite big and very comfortable. Great view of thje Matterhorn. Breakfast was good quality but limited options. No cooked breakfast available
