The breakfast was very substantial and had all you could want. The location was a 7 minute walk from the train station and also to the Gornergrat railway. Right in the heart of Zermatt - close to skiing, shopping and restaurants. We ate at several great restaurants in town but the chef at the Butterfly Hotel is also excellent. We ended up eating there at least twice on our 6 day stay.

It is centrally located 3-5min walk from zermatt bahnhof. The staff I’ve encountered to are all brilliant. They allow early check-in as long as the room is already unoccupied. If you’re an Asian travelling, they serve steamed rice during breakfast.
