We enjoyed the spa, sauna and pool. The staffs are friendly. Breakfast have lots variety, love the coffee frappe for tea time with some cookies and nice view from the hotel. The room is spacious and bed is comfy. Definitely will come back again if visit zermat.

Couldn’t recommend this place any higher. We were late in and the hotel staff were lovely and still cooked us a meal last closing time in the restaurant. The rooms are very nice, modern and clean. The spa and pool are great and it is only a very short walk to the town with a shuttle service as well. Very good!

This was my second stay at Alpen and the first time bringing my family and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. We loved the cosy lobby and the tea-time session at check-in. The staff even helped with a surprise birthday decoration for my sibling at short notice, which made it their best birthday yet! The onsen, sauna, steam bath and swimming pool were fantastic, and although we forgot our swimsuits, the hotel had a great selection at affordable prices so we could still enjoy ourselves fully. When my mom fell sick, they kindly arranged an e-taxi ride to the clinic such thoughtful service, otherwise we'd need to walk about 15min to the clinic. The breakfast spread was another highlight, just as impressive as my first visit. Overall, Alpen exceeded expectations again. If I return to Zermatt a third time, I know exactly where I’ll be staying!
