Hotel Overview

In a historic building dating from 1493, the Romantikhotel is located in the centre of Zell am See, only a few steps away from Lake Zell. It offers free WiFi access and has indoor and outdoor pools.
The large spa area features a sauna, a steam bath, a hot tub, and an infrared cabin. The spa area is divided into a dress-on and a nude area (for adults only). A wide range of beauty treatments and massages is also available at Romantikhotel Zell am See. The pools are heated throughout the year.
The Metzgerwirt restaurant serves Austrian and international cuisine, with many seasonal and regional specialities and organic products.
You are welcome to reserve a parking space at the Romantikhotel Zell am See for EUR 9.00 per car per day. A private underground car park is available at an additional cost.
From mid-May to mid-October, the Zell am See-Kaprun Card is included in the rate. This card offers many free benefits and discounts, including free use of local cable cars and buses.

This suite has a bedroom with a water bed, a living room with a fireplace, a sofa, desk and a flat-screen TV. It also has Wi-Fi, a terrace and a bathroom with a spa bath. Please note that extra beds are not available in this room type. Our spacious wedding suite is located on the first floor of our main house. This suite features a small terrace. The bedroom is equipped with a TV and waterbed and is separate from the living room. The living room features a small desk and seating area and flat screen TV. The Danish tiled stove radiates heat and a sense of well-being. The bathroom has a whirlpool tub. This suite also features a special separate shower! Basic amenities include telephone, flat screen TV, hairdryer, tea station and safe.

This double room has a sofa, bathrobe and seating area. The themed rooms are located on the first and second floor of the historic main building. The rooms are all accessible by elevator. Romantic double room with living and sleeping area shower, toilet, hair dryer, cable TV and radio, room safe, direct dial telephone, free W-LAN as well as bathrobes and bath towels for the wellness area.

This suite features a balcony, sofa and electric kettle. Rooms in this category are located in the adjacent "Landhaus" building (connected via underground tunnel). Rooms can be accessed by lift. All rooms are equipped with shower or tub and separate toilet. On every floor there is a suite with separate bedroom for children. All rooms in this category have a balcony. Our basic amenities include a flat screen TV, telephone, hairdryer, tea station, desk and safe.

This double room has a balcony, bathrobe and sofa. The "Young & Royal" rooms are all located in our annex-apartement building. The buildings are connected though the underground garage. In the spacious and royal double rooms, you will feel like a princely couple. The soothing box spring beds ensure a fantastic sleep and the modern bathroom leaves nothing to be desired. Fast Wi-Fi, cable TV, WC, hairdryer as well as a spa bag with towels, bathrobe and slippers are part of the basic equipment. There is no elevator.

This double room features a balcony, an electric kettle and a bathrobe. This room category is located in our adjacent "Severinhaus" building. The rooms on the first floor can be accessed by lift; rooms on the second floor are accessible only by stairs. All rooms are equipped with a shower or tub and the toilet is separate. Every floor of our hotel has a romantic room with a separate sleeping area for kids (with bunk bed). Our basic amenities include a flat screen TV, telephone, hairdryer, tea station, desk and safe.

This place is really unique, each room is different and the whole hotel is a museum between historical items and family souvenirs. The staff is beyond expectations from the oldest generation to the youngest of the Hörl family. Excellent breakfast ! And how can we forget to mention Maxi the cat. Coming to Zell am See is synonymous with staying at the Romantik Hotel. Thank you !

Central with great facilities and beautiful gardens. We really enjoyed the spa area after a long day of hiking. Close proximity to the lido, restaurants and ski lifts. Solar heated pool was lovely as the lake is still chilly in summer! Delighted to have an upgrade, thank you, and we enjoyed our cuddles with Maxie the cat.

The location of the hotel was great - right near the lake and also near restaurants, shops etc. Our room was fantastic with the benefit of a balcony. We were able to check into our room well ahead of check in time which was really appreciated. The hotel has a car park with very reasonable rates for parking.

Our room was on the top floor with a balcony from which we enjoyed views of the lake. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. As we stayed for longer than one night, we were offered a "Summer Card", entitling us to free local transport and free use of the cable cars in the area. The hotel was just a short stroll to the lake.
