Located at 2,000 metres above sea level, next to the mountain station of the Schmittenhöhe Cable Car, Berghotel Schmittenhöhe - 2000m offers ski-to-door access, a modern spa area, and a large sun terrace with panoramic mountain views.
The rooms, renovated in 2018, overlook the surrounding mountains and offer satellite TV and free WiFi. Most of the rooms have a balcony,
The 330 m² spa area features various saunas, a fitness room, a sun bed, and a massage bed. Bathrobes are provided.
In the famous SchnapsHansBar you enjoy the largest Aprés-ski of the region
The Schmittenhöhe Berghotel is only reachable by cable car, which operates between 08:30 and 16:30. From the valley station, the centre of Zell am See can be reached in 5 minutes with the free ski bus, or on foot in 20 minutes. The ski pass is also valid in Kaprun, 8 km away.

Please note that the hotel can only be reached by cable car, which only operates between 08:30 and 16:30. Limited parking is available next to the valley station (reservations required).
A reservation requires full vaccination or recovery (certified) for adults. Children from 12 to 18 years old need a valid PCR test.
Arrival must take place by 16:00, as it is no longer possible to reach the hotel after the cable cars close.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Spectacular location on the top of the Schmittenhöhe. Excellent, modern room with fantastic views. Superb food. And best of all the staff who were so professional and welcoming. I cannot recommend highly enough.
