I like that the local church bells did not ring out all through the night. I like the way that the locals popped in for coffer or a quick beer. I liked that in the evening the local people use this restaurant. which says more to me than any recommendation. I like the owner. His grasp of languages is quite something in my opinion. More than anything it was the peace of the place. A short walk down the road to a bench and just breath in and relax. The view of the lake is about a 4/10 for photography. If a photo of lake Como is required. Personally I'm more of a "now is the time" type person. So I sat, took in the air and thought...

Size and cleanliness of the room was great. Staff friendly, helpful and the restaurant on site was good.
