Super clean apartment and fantastic view. Located in such a beautiful village and so close to the village seaside. We were welcomed with a plate of grapes and figs, such a beautiful touch and so delicious. So grateful we could also use the washing machine. Also an easy walk to Zitna beach which is so beautiful. We stayed 2 nights and got a taxi there and back which was expensive. I recommend a rental car once off the ferry due to the location of the village and can then go exploring.

Location, location, location!! Great friendly locals with pizzeria. Easy walking to harbour and Zitna beach (which is the best beach in Croatia) . Nice shop in the village.

The host is really kind and friendly. The appt has a stunning sea view from the window and balcony. It's very well located, as the beach is of easy access by less than 5 min of walk, and there's a very good restaurant on the same street just 50 meters away.

Very nice apartment in a lovely small coastal village! We loved everything about this apartment and had four fantastic days and were very well taken care of by the host's mum who seems to run the show. Well equipped kitchen, effective AC, great location and a short-ish walk to the beautiful Žitna beach. Be aware that Zavalatica is small, with only two restaurants and one shop, but for a quiet vacation, we loved it! Things I think are not clear in the description: parking is great, which is important in a village like this. Also, the house has a private area by the ocean, with 8 sun beds and a shaded table and its own ladder into the ocean (for once, no swimming shoes required, this is to deep to step on a sea urchin) which made it super convenient to take a quick dip in the sea before breakfast and whenever the day got too hot. We had a very nice balcony and also use of the washing machine just outside our door. And the shop, with pretty much everything you need on a day to day basis, is a few steps away. Highly recommended!
