The Zanzibar Ocean View Hotel has a great location on a cliff overlooking a white sand beach. The facilities are rather pricy for the quality of the services, however. TV reception was rather poor. The breakfast was tasty, I have to admit. The dining room staff are prompt. The dinners were not so tasty. Mingling with the youthful Zanzibari beachgoers was a joy-filling exercise.

Quirky old style hotel with external rooms with own balcony. Some with sea view. The hotel has seen better days but is surrounded by jungle. Dining room is under huge thatched room exposed to the elements, which could prove challenging when windy and raining, but fine in the dry season. Breakfast is okay but beware the crows that are ready to swoop in if you leave your table for too long. Juice was good. Serve Beer (not lall hotels in Zanizbar do)

The breakfast was good and the stuff is friendly especially these two guys Ally and Tina were so lovely to be with them. Jackob the manager is a father figure who is so kind. I enjoyed rice and the fish.
