Hostel Starówka – Zamość Stay: 1 night (26 Jun - 27 Jun) My stay at Hostel Starówka was truly enjoyable from start to finish. The receptionist at the front desk was very pleasing and welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and friendly. We requested a late check-out, and the team kindly agreed without any issues, which was a great help for our travel plans. Our room offered a wonderful street view, allowing us to soak in the charming atmosphere of Zamość’s Old Town right from the window. The location of the hostel is unbeatable—right in the heart of the historic center—making it easy to explore the city’s main attractions on foot. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing excellent value for money. The staff also allowed us to keep our luggage at reception until the evening, which added to the convenience of our stay. Overall, the combination of a prime location, attentive and friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations made this a memorable visit. I will definitely come back to Hostel Starówka on my next trip to Zamość and highly recommend it to other travelers looking for a welcoming and well-located place to stay.

Very nice room, clean modern shared bathroom, kitchen and large sitting area. Right in old town centre. Bicycle storage is inside locked gate but not covered.

I booked Hostel Starówka for 3 nights and had to leave for the last night to stay elsewhere. The location of the hostel was not bad, right in the heart of the city. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, which was a nice touch. However, the room was extremely small, though it was clean, it had two holes in the wall above the bed one covered with scrunched tissue and wone with scrunched plastic bag. My main issue was the noise. The hostel seemed to be cater largely to construction workers, and they were incredibly disruptive. They slammed doors, went up and down the stairs, outside to smoke,laughed and swear, all of which created a lot of noise late into the night. It was impossible to get a good night's sleep, as they were noisy well into the late hours and started up again around 6 in the morning. After two sleepless nights, I booked a different hotel for my final night in the area and finally got some rest. While the location and the reception staff were great, and my room was acceptable, the noise made it impossible to relax. Because of this, I wouldn't stay here again.
