We liked the hotel well. It was nicely decorated and located quite centrally. The room was a bit dated, but we thought it was cozy. The little shop next to the reception was exciting and interesting.

A small, well kept and centrally located boutique hotel. The centre of Zamora is a gentle 5 minute walk away. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Ares hotel has a co-located shop selling good quality leather bags, pottery, bedding and towels. The hotel and shop are excellent value for money. This was our 4th year staying at the hotel as we travelled across Spain. Strongly recommended.

Very quirky boutique hotel in a fantastic location. The extra little touches in the rooms, flowers and sweets , was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. And the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent service especially from the lady on reception with advice on eating etc. Also parking was convenient just around the corner to a secure garage although there was a limited number of spaces but a public car park immediately opposite. Very chic interior and large breakfast area. We were "warned" that an orchestra would be performing that night in the road outside so there would be some noise! turns out it was a Rock Band that finished at 2am!! gotta laugh think it was lost in translation!!!!. No Problemo.
