Gorgeous property- very clean and perfect for a short break! We stayed whilst on the Fisherman’s trail. Breakfast included and lovely scenery and room.

We hiked the fisherman’s trail and stayed at Monte do Papa Leguas because everything was booked in the town of Zambojeira do Mar itself (it’s 2km out of town), but it turned out to be one of the best accommodations we had! Situated in the middle of nature, with a beautiful courtyard, a nice swimming pool (a little cold in March but very refreshing), a spacious room with a very comfortable (and big) bed, this is the perfect place to calm down and relax. You can rent bikes for free to get to town, or simply take a taxi for 5 euros. Breakfast was the best we had on our trip, would definitely come back.

Quiet, clean, comfy, friendly, good breakfast that has everything one could think of. Hikers of the fisherman trail should consider the small detour to reach this outstanding place. We hitched there and the very friendly hosts drove us back the next morning (~2km).

Interesting place, with horses grazing outside the window. Some of the rooms are located in a former horse stable - tastefully and interestingly decorated rooms, unusual. Overall, a spacious, very quiet area. Pleasant staff. The best breakfast during our trip - it was excellent.
