Room was comfortable. Ask for additional pillow from reception. Service is attentive. Only one of the room , out of 4 room s got the mountain view.

Great location, our rooms had beautiful mountain views. The bath was great, rooftop soaking in the hot water while it snowed was a highlight.

The hotel is about 9 minutes walk from Yufuin Station but it was not a difficult walk. The staff who served me was able to do so in fluent English and she was able to answer all my questions. The public baths were fantastic. I totally enjoyed the outdoor and indoor baths especially after a long day of travelling and walking. Watching the scenery while bathing was a treat too! The room was way larger than I had expected and I loved the lovely view from the windows. I was very surprised by the little gift and postcards that I received when I checked out. It made the short stay so much more memorable.

The staff was friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. A bit of tatami smell which was fine to me and soon will ignore it. We were given a mountain view room with great scenery.
