I only write reviews with extreme positives or negatives, and we got ourselves a really positive one here. We loved our stay. Everything was great, but I will elaborate: 1. The family who owns it are amazing, their hospitality is more than you would expect. What a sweethearts; did everything to help and even more. Also helped us with some tips and tricks and arrange what we wanted to do. 2. The room was very spacious, we also loved the seats on the balcony and the inside. 3. Beds were great! Not too hard as we were used to in Taiwan. 4. It was clean and nicely decorated 5. They thought of all the details, even an English manual to the Chinese AC remote 6. The location is great! (A bit) of lake view and two minute walk to the harbour, old street and the night market 7. They also have some toast, eggs, jam and butter to also fill Western stomaches in the morning. If you go to Sun Moon Lake, Ita Thao is the place to be. If you're in Ita Thao, go here. I'm sure you won't regret.

It is right on a quiet street in the middle of the town! You can get to the center and the port in 5 min. It is very clean with lots of stylish decoration of aboriginal tastes. The owners and staff are extremely warm and welcoming.

The location was fantastic a little difficult to find at first glance Just a short walk from the jetty or bus station Breakfast was adequate vegetarian Scrambled eggs with turnip delicious
