Beautiful historic building. Our room was gorgeous. Stephen and Katriana were wonderful hosts who looked after us so well .They were just a lovely couple and we definitely recommend La Porte Cochère if you want a wonderful place to stay in Ypres. We will be returning in future.

The location was perfect for us, near the centre of town in a quiet street. The breakfast was served beautilfully and cooked to order. Our hosts were exceptionally helpful.

Loved it. Characterful period building close to the centre of Ypres, an easy walk from the station in one direction and the Cloth Hall and restaurants in the other. Charming bedrooms and bathrooms. Delightful hosts who welcomed us to their home and were interested in our reasons for visiting without being intrusive. Delicious and plentiful breakfast. Would certainly return next time we are in town.
