Large room, comfortable bed, good heating, excellent breakfast. The staff were great. Loved the bar. Easy 30 minute walk to center

Parking was plentiful right outside the front door of the hotel. Easy to get the car in and out, to the main road. The reception area was very welcoming and the staff were really lovely. Our room was big and had an adequately sized shower room. There was a separate hallway from the front door of our room into the bedroom. This area was fantastic for putting clothes, shoes, and bags. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were good. Plenty of lighting in all areas. A fridge and TV were also in the room. And a kettle with a choice of tea and coffee... hooray! The breakfast was brilliant with a very good choice of hot and cold foods. And a lovely selection of naughty treats!! The bar area was good and had a good choice of drinks. We drove to the centre of Ypres on both nights and had excellent food in 2 of the local restaurants. There is a restaurant in the hotel, which I'm sure is very good.

I liked that there was ample parking. Staff were Friendly and the breakfast was great.

Location, Staff very helpful, booked a taxi for us to get into town although it’s only about a mile walk, be aware, taxis are expensive 25€ for a 5 min ride!!
