The motel itself is lovely as was the superior room we stayed in, the staff were friendly and helpful and the associated bar was was really nice and the food in the impossible restaurant was also very nice with a decent menu, the price for one night was 207 and was really good given the location as it was walking distance from train station and 5 mins walk from the shambles and town centre

The aesthetic of the whole place was amazing. So dark with an incredible sexy vibe. I will note that we only visited reception and the basement, but both held the same dark, moody atmosphere. Incredible!! We stayed in the labyrinth. This is without doubt the best room I've ever stayed in. 100% up our street. The bed was absolutley enormous and the most comfortable we've ever had. The only thing it could do with is a bit of a higher headboard. Pillows slipped down the bed and through the bars of what was there which was a little inconvenient. The illusion that the bed is held by chains makes for a fantastic look. I'm pleased to confirm though, the bed doesn't move! The pair of baths are just amazing. Nicely sized for 5ft 4 me. My husband found them a little snug and he's only 5ft 10. With that being said, the doorways and the ceiling above the loo are very low and he did bump his head a few times. Not great for those who are taller!

Quirky, clean and comfortable, I loved the dark and moody vibe with the added bonus of being in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful, i would definitely book to stay here again and recommend to others.
