Location was great. A nice stroll into York. Apartment had everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. Negatives - had asked for the large double room to be made into twin beds, although this was acknowledged it didn't happen. We had asked for a slightly later check out well in advance to be told we needed to wait until we had checked in. Then when we asked again it wasn't possible as cleaners had scheduled to clean at 1030am. We appreciate the check out was 10am however would have rather known at the time of requesting a late check out that it wouldn't have been possible. Felt like they were making sure we couldn't cancel before letting us know it couldn't be done. Also only 1 set of keys were provided which meant they had to be put in and out of the key box constantly. Meaning 1 person keeping the apartment door open while the other ran down and behind the building to do this so the young ones could get back in later on! A tad inconvenient. Fine for families who are likely to stay together for the whole stay but not when there are either 2 couples or like like us..mum's and their teenage kids!

The property was excellent, good walking distance into the centre of York and nice and quiet. The apartment is beautiful with lots of room for us to relax, good value for money, and enjoy watching the 3 ducks walking across the roads each day. Will be booking again and also recommend to my friends 🧡 x

Wonderful location, only a short walk from York centre. Great local pub opposite with very affordable prices. The apartment was clean and suited our needs perfectly. Highly recommended!
