Second time staying at the golden fleece, staff are friendly food and drinks are great and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Position in the city is great, just a short walk to all major attractions.

The property is incredible, filled with history and of course deemed the most haunted in York .. we stayed in the minster suite where the ww2 airman jumped or fell!! Stay if you dare and see if your experience was as encountering as ours!! Amazing we now need to stay in the other four rooms !!

Everything you could of asked for, clean, great location, friendly staff, good choice of drinks nice food. Not overly priced. Looks dated but room was freshly decorated and kept to old theme. No fault with our stay. Loved it.
