Super nice apartment, large kitchen with everything you need. There was even fresh milk in the fridge and chocolates and a bottle of wine on the kitchen table. Perfectly located between the train station and the city centre.

The host, Florence, was very responsive and made sure we were welcomed. From stocking the fridge with milk for our first cup of Yorkshire tea to providing us with welcome wine and snacks (kit kat no less!), every little detail in the apartment was very well thought out. The location was perfect: short walk from the train station, we had a light carry on and suitcase, and in a quiet part of town away from the busy pubs. York itself is very walkable, and there are plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby. The flat is stylish, calming, and clean. Everything that you needed for a short weekend stay they had. All check-in and check-out instructions were clear.
