Very warm welcome and booking in was simple. An amazing historic building which has been decorated, renovated and motivated to a very splendid stay. Staff were friendly and attentive. Fabulous four poster room with an amazing aspect toward the Minster. Cosy, Middle Ages Castle feel to the room with adequate modern facilities. Anything more than adequate would have been a Premier Inn.

A brilliant hotel in a historic building right next to the Minster, with plenty of character (and uneven floors). Beautifully decorated rooms and a nice pub downstairs.
