It's an amazing place all round. Location is fantastic, house is clean, homely and comfortable and has everything you need, beyond your expectations. The host is brilliant. From the welcome package of goodies for us upon arrival to the extra treats and things one would need, nothing is forgotten. So much thought has gone into this place. We stayed for 2 weeks and the host arranged for a mid week clean (unusual from our travel experiences). The weather got warm and a new fan was dropped into us. WiFi is excellent, shower and hot water just brilliant. Would most definitely stay again 😃

Excellent accommodation, about a 15-minute walk along the river into the centre of York. Parking just around the corner, which is a big bonus. Everything you need is in the house, contact from the owner asking if everything is OK on arrival and after leaving plus a welcome pack. It's the attention to detail that makes the difference.

We loved this little house! It’s very conveniently located, just a short 15 min walk along the riverside from York city centre. The owner was lovely, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We were so pleased when we arrived after a long journey to find a variety of drinks, food, snacks and condiments, so we didn’t need to go straight back out to eat. Beds were super comfy. Lots of big, fluffy towels. Pretty much everything you’d need for a comfy home from home is provided, from toiletries and ear plugs, to board games and streaming TV. We even had slippers, eye masks and dressing gowns. We’ve stayed in loads of holiday homes over the past decade and this was one of the best for facilities.

Great location and proximity to York centre. The property was very clean and the hosts were excellent and responsive to our needs.
