Mitsui garden is always a disapoibtment. stuff can’t speak English, bad restaurant, expensive, they don’t help at all. I will never come again. Also the area is very far away from everything and ALL the pools are HOT even in summer with 36 degrees. Also they are thieves. They offer a free breakfast if you stay 2 nights but you have to trade it in their app that is only for Japanese people. I stayed 2 nights in Nagoya and 5 here and between 5 employees couldn’t find a way to give me my free breakfasts. The only thing they know how to say is “I’m so sorry”.

Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama: A Fantastic Stay Transformed by Exceptional Service Our family of three (my wife, daughter, and I) recently wrapped up our Japan holiday with a wonderful 4-night stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama in early July. It was the ideal relaxing end to our trip, and while we initially encountered a minor hiccup, the hotel's outstanding service truly made our stay memorable. We stayed in a double deluxe room, which truly exceeded our expectations. The room was incredibly comfortable and spacious, a real plus when traveling with a family, and everything felt new, impeccably clean, and modern. A definite highlight was the stunning view of the bay from our window – a beautiful sight to wake up to and enjoy throughout the day. The breakfast buffet was another stand-out feature. It was very nice, offering a huge variety of options that catered to all tastes, including both Japanese and European selections. There was always something delicious for everyone, ensuring we started our days well-fed and ready to explore. Overall, the stay was largely as you expect from a high-quality hotel of this caliber. Important Policy Clarifications for Families However, it's important for future guests, especially families, to be aware of the hotel's child policies regarding certain facilities. While children are welcome, we found that the specifics of these policies were not clearly visible during the initial booking process. Instead, we only received a message via the booking platform detailing these rules after our reservation was already confirmed. Specifically, we learned that: * Children under 140cm are not allowed in the swimming pool at all. * If children are taller than 140cm but under 16 years old, they are only allowed in the pool when accompanied by an adult and only until 6 PM. * Furthermore, children cannot go into the bar area after 5 PM.
