Very helpful staff, I think I gave one of the ladies at the front desk a headache asking her to make like 10 calls for me because I didnt speak Japanese. I appreciate her and she will know who she is if she sees this review!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel during my business trip. It is conveniently located 3 mins of walk to Minato Mirai subway line with connection to Yokohama station. Walking 600 m in the opposite direction lands you in Chinatown. The breakfast was exquisite: Lots of variety and choice. The Union Bar & Lounge is also a nice, cozy place to grab a drink in the evening. Rooms are excellent and well taken care of. I'd recommend the deluxe rooms, which also ensures that you'll get an upper floor, 10+ presumably. From my understanding, all room floors are the same in layout, except for the highest floors. Double bed rooms are to one side away from the street (windows facing north-west) and the king-size bed rooms facing the small side street (windows facing north-east). The furthermost king-size bed room on each floor (no. 1) seems to have an additional window facing towards the bay. It turns out I was a light sleeper and had a problem with street noises. It is situated in a very quiet area of Yokohama, however, so I think it is just me! Hotel staff were very understanding and offered me to switch rooms to a double-bed room facing north-west. This completely solved the problem for me, and am grateful for their willingness to help, top staff.
