This place is absolutely a hidden gem. The welcome we received made us feel like royalty. Everyone was super friendly and made an effort to talk to us every day. We stayed 7 days, but wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was nice and so was the garden. It was out of the busy centre, but enough shops and restaurants nearby. A taxi to Malioboro (train station) was approximately 35000. A great location to explore Prambanen, Borobudur, do cooking and batik classes and visit the caves, malioboro street markets and the palace. Be aware of scams of “batik art exhibitions” and “wajang making”. These are just shops where they are really good in pressuring you to buy their products.

I cannot praise the landlord and his accommodation highly enough. He is an incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful host who spoils you every day with fresh mango juice. The accommodation is very beautiful, clean the location peaceful; simply book, go there and experience it yourself. You can’t go wrong.
