We enjoyed our stay at Hangkhau Hotel. The room we stayed in was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly. The location is very convenient, within a few walking distance from the train station. The breakfast, which was included with our room, was also very good. Highly recommended.

This is a hostel that feels like a hotel. Very professionally maintained and designed. Loved the book wall. I had booked the mixed dorm as I couldn't find a female dorm option but the reception very helpfully asked if I would like to switch. Reception is monitored 24/7 which is excellent. Reception staff are very kind and helpful. Location is right next to Yilan station. They also have a cute selection of Yilan postcards by local artists. The dorm room is large with sufficient space to move around, well lit and comes with its own codeable and large lockers. The most comfortable and cosy bed I've ever had in a hostel! Bathroom is inside the female dorm, spotlessly clean and great body wash and shampoo provided with lots of space to change inside. I can see the bathroom being a bit noisy and crowded with more guests but when I was there, I had no issues. Laundry also available, 30 NTD for wash and 20 NTD for dryer. Loved this place, highly recommended. Excellent value for money.
