Buckland Monachorum was a lovely little place with a local pub. There were lots of board games, puzzles, dvds and books to amuse ourselves during rainy days but most of the time we were outdoors anyway. Most places of interest like Buckland Abbey and Lydford Gorge and Burrator Dam was nearby.

Everything was great at Tregona. I stay there while working in the area, but it would also be lovely for a holiday stay-very peaceful location. Situated in a beautiful village, the accommodation is cosy, warm and inviting. The bed and sofas are comfortable, and the kitchen is well kitted out with everything you could need for self catering. On both occasions the owner called me before I arrived and let me know I could arrive earlier than arranged which was a nice touch. He also very kindly posted something back to me that I left there accidentally. Would recommend to anybody, can't wait to go back.

Everything was lovely. Beautiful location, spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and had everything you could possibly need. I was staying here as was working in the area, but cannot wait to come back on holiday! Thankyou :)

The property and garden are beautiful. Really easy to collect the keys upon arrival. Beautiful location. The property itself was clean and well presented. Overall a great stay.
