Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed self contained apartment. The bed was a dream. I don’t think I’ve slept so well in ages. Easy walk from the train station. Peaceful evenings sat on the patio reading, surrounded by birdsong. There were problems with the trains on the first day of my stay. Sue was super helpful, providing great directions and offering to pick me up from the station. Will definitely look to stay here again. Yate amazingly has a vibrant and busy shopping centre with lots of shops. If you’re not travelling by car, once you get used to timing of the buses (about once an hour) and the tap on / tap off contactless payment it’s pretty easy to get around. If like me you’re on foot, convenience store (Tesco Express) about 25 minute walk, train station and bus stop about 15 minutes.

Apple Tree Corner cottage was a perfect location for our long weekend stay: peaceful and calm, everything we needed was provided and the attention to detail is exceptional.

Brilliant apartment - Everthing you could want for a short stay. Clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Great attention to detail at every point. Lovely hosts. Will definitely stay again if in the area.
