Staff were really friendly and helpful. Usually one member of staff on hand that spoke good English most of the time. Angel and Hannah helped us plan and execute a great itinerary for our stay. We picked the room with a Mountain View and this was really nice. Beds were super comfy. Toilet roll and toilets in the room also good. There were free laundry facilities available but we did not use these. The staff also helped us heat up leftover take away food in their microwave. We also did a painting class at the hotel.

The view from our room was incredible! There were tourists coming to the hotel area to take pictures. The room was exceptionally clean. The staff is super friendly and willing to help with all your needs and questions. Bamboo rafting is close by. You can take a walk to the right along the river passing a nice coffee shop on the bank of the river. We stopped there twice; cafe is very cozy with good drinks, desserts and a great view of the river with rafts going through the change of water levels. We'll stay at the villa next time we are in Guilin. We would recommend hiring Didi yourself instead of ordering a transfer (some hotels include one way transfer in the room rate and it was not the case) by hotel; it's cheaper.
