The location was excellent, and the view of the mountains from our room was incredible. It was just a few minutes' walk to restaurants and shops. The lady at the reception desk was very helpful and spoke good English. She recommended some great excursions, including a trip to a tea plantation, which was a fantastic choice. We also rented scooters. Even though it was the first time for us and our teenage daughters, she trusted us, and we had a wonderful time exploring the area on the scooters.

Though slightly outside Yangshuo downtown, we could not have been more happy with this property's location. Downtown is very busy and noisy, this property feels as though it's in a village on the outskirts. It is so quiet and calm. The staff were so incredibly kind to us, Emily spoke amazing English which was a huge bonus. The whole family-run feel really sets this place apart from other stays in China.

Comfortable room with a large terrace facing the karst mountains, friendly staff (a big thank you to Emily and other staff); possibility of laundry; English spoken (which was rare where we have been); daily excursions available and organised by the hotel.
