Great location - walk 180m along flat street to clip in point and then ski down to Family run lifts or continue on to other lifts which allow you to go almost anywhere in Shiga Kogen. In the afternoon you can ski to the door. There was a typical mix of western and Japanese cuisine for breakfast and dinner, with quite a few variations at dinner time to keep it sufficiently interesting during my 2 week stay. The Japanese room was very clean, well maintained and plenty of room for a single or couples.
