Perfect location in the middle of all the 9 bathhouses in Shibu, which we got access to by staying at Ikariya. The staff were super friendly and helpful and we felt very taken care of.

The property is right in the centre of Shibu onsen, within walking distance from the Snow Monkey park and Yudanaka station. We liked that the property is very traditional, and the room was huge. We had a dinner and breakfast there and the food was really good. Another thing to mention is that, if told in advance, they cater for allergies - as a celiac is not always easy to find gluten free options, but the options I had there were amazing! The staff was also professional and took good care of us.
