Location was fantastic being so close to ski fields, dinners were great value and staff very friendly.

Great location, friendly staff, very accommodating when I had to change number of days I could stay. Only issue as I couldn't seem to turn the underfloor heating down in the bedroom so was a bit too hot at night.

Great location in Ichinose. We were on the 4th floor, with a view of the Ichinose Diamond ski area across the road. Good sized room. Really nice buffet breakfast. The only downsides: there was a night store type heater in the room that couldn't be switched off. Consequently, the room was uncomfortably hot at times. Secondly, the pillows were filled with hard beans and were really uncomfortable. Before you say "that's the Japan Tatami experience", we've stayed in plenty of places in Japan on Tatami but not like this - the pillows were killer. The shower also ran hot cold constantly and wasn't really usable. However, the nice deep bath did the trick, or you could use the common baths on level 3. We have had the central heating issue before (e.g. Nikki Narita) and really you don't have a lot of options to manage the temperature: opening the windows for any extended period isn't an option due to 1. They freeze up and lock 2. Snow monkeys apparently don't mind coming in for a look around 😁 On balance, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Breakfast was immense, value unmatched and so close to the piste. Incredible Izakaya underneath and absolutely lovely staff. We will come back!!
