Cape Lodge has seen better days. The lovely staff on working holiday visas from all over the globe were earnest and diligent. The grounds remain beautiful and park-like. The rooms were basic country cottage with little feel of any luxury. Food was excellent. The dining room , which as the focal point of the lodge overlooking the reservoir , should be better than a beige cafeteria with lonely picture hooks dotting the blank walls. Sad and not worth the money
