Excellent stay. Ishan, his wife and other staff are very kind, friendly, and welcoming to guests. They made our stay feel personal and did everything they could to ensure we had an enjoyable time. The food prepared at the lodge by Ishans wife was excellent. The safaris and transfers organised by Ishan were also fantastic and everything went smoothly. The tuk tuk driver is very helpful and kind too, he helped me find some sunglasses when I broke mine. The room was clean, spacious, and well equipped. This stay has been the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka so far thanks to the staff at Ranakeliya lodge, and I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Very cute rustic glamping tent. Comfy beds. Fan and a mobile air con unit really helped at night with the heat. Lovely outdoor seating area and hammock to chill out in after safari. Delicious Sri Lankan food and huge portions. Very helpful staff who organised our safaris. Once in the property you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but actually you’re just off a road in a town
