Rosy “Charming guesthouse on Yakushima”

Absolutely charming guesthouse, the owner and her four cars really make you feel at home. The location is really convinient, close to bus stops that will get you around the island. I rented a bicycle and had the best time on Yakushima thanks to Satomi’s guidance. Thank you so much!

This was a fantastic stay. The host is a very nice lady who made you feel like part of the family and really went out of her way to make sure that I had al the information for the walks and public transport in Yakushima. The bed was comfortable and there was a Japanese style bath in the accommodation. Overall this was excellent value and made my stay in Yakushima extremely enjoyable

Absolutely incredible host. She was so lovely and helpful. Unfortunately there was an incoming typhoon and so the host recommended we leave the island as soon as possible to avoid being stuck with ferry cancellations. She was extremely helpful in organising this and even phoned my car rental company to ask about refunds. Despite this being her suggestion, the host went above and beyond and still contacted booking.com to refund us for the extra night we would not be able to stay. Really lovely hostel too, felt very homey and comfortable and enjoyed my brief stay there!
