We really liked the position on the estate, even if we didn't have an uninterrupted view of the straits; the secluded balcony and patio outside the bedroom at the rear, and meant we had both morning and afternoon sun. The well kept grounds with wildlife also impressed. The interior of the house was well kept, clean and fresh, with all the kitchen amenities we could need - even ice cubes in the freezer! Nothing was tatty or mismatched, and the extra treats like shortbread, milk and Tassimo coffee and hot chocolate pods were a lovely touch. We were there for our son's graduation, but found Y Felinheli to be a great spot...walks on your doorstep along the coastal path, great pub and food at the Garddfon Inn, as well as Swellies cafe on the marina. And of course Machlud Yns provided an excellent base for all our excursions over the few days we were there.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay just outside of Bangor. It was easy to tour Bangor, Anglesey, Mount Snowdon and the surrounding region. The holiday home was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.
