The view from the balcony is stunning. The owner is helpful, arriving late he told us to pay the day after and to run to a restaurant to eat before it closed.

Simple room with bathroom in a big family house in a villige near Bacalar if you want to stay out of the rush and away from turists.

The room was clean and comfortable, albeit small, but the large terrace and the owner's friendliness, along with the option to use his own terrace for family activities and meals, more than compensated for the size of the room. We were very satisfied, especially with the beautiful lake view, and the owner provided valuable advice for excursions, helping us choose good and budget-friendly options in the surrounding area.

Antonio and Nora are great hosts very welcoming and helpful.. if your lucky enough to be there on a Sunday morning the home cooked cochinita is perfecto 👌 . Free public access to the lagoon 4min walk .
