A little hut on the waterfront with direct access to the lagoon which was clean and blue. We spent four nights here and used the free kayaks on two days and swam in the little beach section on the last day. The view is beautiful and you can lay on deck chairs or in a hammock. The shower has plenty of hot water and the shared facilities were very clean. The air conditioning in the hut worked well. Los Rápidos was a 10min drive away and was very crowded because it was Good Friday. Bacalar town was a 15 minute drive and we took a 4 hour sailing tour from there. The village that the property is in is small but there is a little supermarket and we also ate bbq food from stalls on the main road. A car is helpful in this location. A basic breakfast is provided and the fruit is good. Israel (the proprietor) is a lovely man. We cooked in the shared kitchen and bottled water is available. Overall, it was a lovely local experience and other Mexican families were in surrounding waterfront properties enjoying the Easter weekend. Thank you Israel and to the lovely seniorita who made breakfast.

Everything. Great host, great location, good traditional breakfast. It is right on the beach at the very beginning of the Bacalar lagoon. They have free kayaks and peddle boards. It was nice to explore the lagoon before breakfast. The owner recommended us to go to Calamkul pyramid park and it was great advice. Definetly will come back.

The cabins were cosy and with great atmosphere. The platform on the lagoon was great place to rest and read a book. The staff is very nice. We took kayaks and visited Los Rapidos which was amazing trip.
