The location is very good, almost in city center but very quiet.

We usually like older and period buildings but this hotel doesn't really have any charm. The decor is quite dark and a little depressing. The staff were very helpful but the area is quite secluded. There's not really anything within walking distance to go exploring in the evening. The pool was quite disappointing. It's in another building, two buildings down from the hotel and the changing rooms are on a different floor to the pool so you have to walk down the stairs wet to get to the changing rooms. The changing rooms were quite dated and very dingy.

Location brilliant, very central as within walls of old city. Use of swimming pool in adjacent hotel nice. Breakfast good. Plenty of shops 10 min walk away.
