I stayed in a front room of the property. I liked it but for some it maybe a bit noisy. Location excellent and locals very nice. They have special nights in the restaurant. I enjoyed steak night the waiting staff were excellent, very helpful throughout my stay.

Great location at the end of the main street, directly opposite the wharf & Inglis River. Also approx. 5 min walk to a lovely quiet swimmable beach. My room was old & could have done with a little updating but was very clean & well-appointed. I didn't have a view (overlooked the roofs in an internal courtyard) & the room got quite hot in March, however windows could be opened & a floor fan was provided. Basic facilities were provided (tea & coffee making, bar fridge, towels, soap & shampoo/conditioner etc). The staff were very welcoming & accommodating of an early check-in. Overall a good experience & excellent value for money.

Beautiful 100 year old hotel with all the charm to go with it. Right from the moment we arrived the staff were amazing and couldn't be more helpful. Kylie was fantastic with our booking after a slight mix up by Booking.com and Greg was amazing with the safe storage of our bikes. The meals were excellent and reasonably priced as well. The best part was the hotel's location, with incredible river and harbour views. Highly recommend.
