found it quirky and old fashioned in a good way. when the woodburner was on and rain falling outside it was warm and cosy. When not raining could sit out on the decking and just be at peace.

Very cute and comfortable little converted stable. The log burner was great, kept us nice and warm in the November weather. John gave us lots of information about the surrounding areas and welcomed us when we arrived.

What a fantastic way to start 2026 and Early Birthday Celebrations. The property is located down county lanes away from main roads and traffic. It is very quiet and peaceful and the views are incredible. Even in the dark the stars where stunning to look at. The log burner is also a plus, kept us warm during the snow. There is a swimming pool outside which was covered over due to the weather and there is numerous fire pits and walks around the grounds. There is also a new building with a hot tub and sauna being installed and we look forward to returning to try all of this. John the owner is so friendly and welcoming and just an all round lovely person. We cannot wait to return to the property and stay again.

John is a wonderful host, allowing us to have space while also being available to answer questions. The location is stunningly beautiful, and also a lot more convenient than the rural setting may imply. Lots of wildlife and walking available, would highly recommend for nature lovers
